Feeling As If There’s Hope
Full of Abundant Intercessions for The Hopeful
Now, Faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things unseen
Hebrews 11:1 (KJV)
Faith means - Full of Abundant Intercession for The Hopeful!
But putting it plainly, it could also mean Feeling As If There’s Hope. This means we are to expect abundant blessings and remain hopeful and confident that God will supply everything we need. God will intercede when we are in need. He will provide what we need if we just continue to believe that he will provide us what we hope for and ask him for.
Hebrews 11: 6 ( KJV) But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.
This verse means if you want to please God, you must believe that HE is God. And he rewards us when we diligently (constantly) seek him with all of our heart.
Hebrews 12:2 a (KJV) Fixing our eyes in Jesus, the pioneer and perfector of faith. For the joy set before him, he endured the cross, scorning it’s shame, and sat down at the right hand of God.
This means that Jesus was the ultimate example of what faith represents because if we keep our eyes fixed on his example we too shall see God, even though we will endure hardships, trials and pain, just like he did, we must hold onto our faith just like Christ did when he was facing the cross.
2 Corinthians 5:7 For we live by faith, not by sight
This verse speaks volumes to me. We should live by what we hope to have or attain, not by what we can actually see in front of us at the moment. If we believe in Christ, then we have to have and trust that God will provide everything we need and even things we desire to have.
Romans 10:17
Consequently, faith comes from hearing the message, and the message is heard through the word about Christ.
This means that we learn about faith by reading our bibles and going to church and fellowshipping with other Christians. It means we talk to our pastors and church leaders for guidance, inspiration and support.
James 2:17
In the same way, faith by itself, if it is not accompanied by action, is dead.
This means that Faith without “doing something” won't get activated. Think of it like a motion detector sensor light. It does not come on, or is not “activated” until it senses motion. That is what faith without works means. Faith is activated by works and belief.
Matthew 21:22 KJV
And all things, whatsoever ye shall ask in prayer, believing, ye shall receive.
I absolutely love this verse! This is a promise from God and his son, Jesus that tells us, no, insures us that when we pray and ask God for anything in prayer, if we simply believe it, we will get what we have asked and prayed for! This is powerful and we really need to remember that God has given us power that exists in prayer. The simple act of prayer is powerful mixed with belief. That is FAITH. Exercise your faith today! Turn your life over to Christ and live according to his words. Trust in HIM for everything and watch your life change for the better.
